Airbus : orders and deliveries - 2011 performance

Following the Dubai Air Show, Airbus published the new figures concerning orders and deliveries of its aircraft.

1/ Key facts :

- Firm orders for the A320neo Family reached 1 196 from 21 customers (including the new chapter 11 company, American Airlines).

- Firm orders for the A380 jumbo jet reached 243 from 18 customers. With already 63 deliveries, there is a current backlog of 180 aircraft.

2/ Airbus delivered a total of 477 aircraft by the end of November, compared to 461 last year.

3/ Airbus’ total backlog jump to 4 453 including the three business lines (Single aisle, A330/350 and A380)
